Community Transportation Association of America

The Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA) offers a comprehensive certification training program called Passenger Assistance, Safety, and Sensitivity (PASS). This program is designed to equip drivers with the necessary skills to safely and sensitively transport passengers, especially those with disabilities and special needs.

The PASS training includes:

Online Session: Approximately four hours can be completed at the student’s pace.
In-Person, Hands-On Session: Lasts about 5-6 hours and includes classroom instruction and practical securement training.

The training covers:

Proper operation of mobility assist devices like wheelchairs and walkers.
Safe and proper wheelchair securement in vehicles.
Lift operation and passenger safety.

Upon completion, participants receive a PASS certification valid for two years

Classes are offered every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If you have your PASS certification, a copy must be emailed to unlimitedcredet@gmail.com before your scheduled class.
